hi everyone.
can anyone tell me what's going on with the blind mice movie vault?

i've heard a lot of diffrent stories- it's closed, it's now not accessible and you can't download from it, it's still their but you need to sign up.. etc etc etc.

i am just wondering if it's still their how do i get to it?

Post 2 by Dirty Little Oar (I'd rather be rowing.) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 8:15:37

It's still there you just have to have a blind mice account and be signed in to get to it. Also, the address is now www.blindmicemegamall.com.

Post 3 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 8:15:49

I can't even get the site to load, nor can any of my other friends who have tried.

It's no longer accessible? Seriously? that's like saying JAWS For Windows is no longer accessible.

I would think that if the only problem was that you had to sign up for it, now, there would be some sort of message on the site indicating that you needed to create an account to download movies.

I tend to support the theory that the site is just down. whether this will prove to be permanent or not, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sorry about that, time Travelling Bunny. Apparently, I posted at the same time you did. thanks for the info.

Post 5 by Dirty Little Oar (I'd rather be rowing.) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 8:27:24

Yep. It definitely still works. I downloaded a bunch of stuff about a week ago. I think the name change is throwing everyone off. It won't load if you try to go to blindmicemart.com.

Post 6 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 15:29:45

Yep. I just created an account. I really like what they've done with the site. They really did need to make some improvements, so I'm glad it finally happened. I still have trouble explaining the fact that some movie titles are listed twice, but it's minor compared to the weird issues the site used to have.

Post 7 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 16:17:46

Is the issue still there where you try to click on a movie description and it won't load? I noticed that when I first signed up, so I haven't downloaded much. The movie descriptions were a major factor in why I wanted to sign up in the first place, so it was really frustrating when they wouldn't work.
Also, I don't think in this day and age of paranoia anyone, especially not a legit business, wants to get their hands dirty by advertising right on their site that they're offering movies for download, even if it is just a described audio track that sighted people don't give a rat's ass about, let alone could make a profit from.

Post 8 by roxtar (move over school!) on Tuesday, 06-Mar-2012 23:33:25

the new site is awesome. I've been downloading from it since it came back online, and it's been working great.

Post 9 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Wednesday, 07-Mar-2012 10:28:02

F&R, they don't actually advertise right on their homepage that you can download movies for free. the average person looking at this would probably think you had to buy them, given their ads about sales. Granted, it certainly wouldn't take much digging to find out, but it's not immedietly obvious, at least.

Is there a way to tell what is dvs and non? I saw a ton of movies just posted but no clue if they were described or not.

Post 11 by Dirty Little Oar (I'd rather be rowing.) on Wednesday, 07-Mar-2012 14:24:54

Everything in the vault is described.

Post 12 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Wednesday, 07-Mar-2012 18:14:47

I know. I was just pointing that out to explain why they probably don't say anything on their home page about the fact the movies are even there. The link won't even show up that gives you access to the movies until you log in anyway.

Post 13 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Thursday, 08-Mar-2012 11:49:46

I would venture the guess that may be one of the reasons they made signing up necessary in the first place.

Post 14 by basket (knowledge is power) on Wednesday, 21-Mar-2012 12:43:58

the nice thing is now they have a small description of the movie. Also, I had also bought something from the actual mall which was nice even though the price for shipping was a little bloated in my opinion.

Post 15 by illumination (Darkness is history.) on Wednesday, 21-Mar-2012 14:27:53

Are you sure it's blindmicemegamall.com? I tried going to it and it took me to go-daddy.com.

Post 16 by illumination (Darkness is history.) on Wednesday, 21-Mar-2012 14:30:52

Never mind, I found it. It just doesn't take me there when I type in the web site for some reason unless I google it.

Post 17 by Smiling Sunshine (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Wednesday, 21-Mar-2012 14:39:59

I still use blindmicemart.com
That works for me for some reason.
I actually met the guy who runs it at a convention once. He's very nice.

anyone know if i can get in to the movie vault with out entering my address in england

went to sign up and they required it

Post 19 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Friday, 23-Mar-2012 19:16:17

Unfortunately, I think you have to enter it to create an account. I wish you could opt to enter your billing info upon payment of your first purchass from them, like you can do with iTunes, but apparently not.

Post 21 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Friday, 30-Mar-2012 16:43:56

okay, jess.

fair enough

Post 22 by Kat_in_aus (Generic Zoner) on Saturday, 31-Mar-2012 23:44:46

i'm having issues with it accepting my address.
does it only take USA addresses?

Post 23 by Villanelle from Wales (Veteran Zoner) on Thursday, 03-May-2012 13:19:55

it will accept addresses from all over! I'm in the UK and had no problem registering my details on there! the old sight did not work for me so I'm thrilled that I can now access everything, I am fast becoming an addict! a large proportion of the content was produced in the UK anyway and most of the narrations are british so it would be pretty unfair if they prohibited us from having access!

Post 24 by Smiling Sunshine (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 03-May-2012 14:28:46

I love the British narraters! They're awesome!

Post 25 by Dejsha (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 28-Jun-2012 6:23:17

Hi, I'm in Australia. I signed up, it went to the megga mall site and some perfume thing, and I can't find the actual movie vault, do you have to be in America to access it?

Post 26 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Thursday, 28-Jun-2012 9:34:51

You have to be logged in to access it, I believe. I don't see why you should have to be in the U.S., though.

Post 27 by Dejsha (Generic Zoner) on Friday, 29-Jun-2012 16:52:36

I was logged in, where is the vault exactly? do you have a link to it? I have been told many things about the site such as you need to be a US citizin to download the movies. I signed up (I thought I'd have to use a fake address though cause it wanted a state with 2 letters and mine has 3) but I was able to sign up, i just can't find where the vault actually is on the website. I log in and it takes me to body sents or something like that.

Post 28 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 30-Jun-2012 4:45:44

Log in, hit insert-F7 for JAWS users, (not sure about other screen readers), scroll down until you see blind mice movie vault, hit enter.

Post 29 by Dejsha (Generic Zoner) on Saturday, 30-Jun-2012 7:06:49

Wow, thanks! how do I find the alphabetical list? It said a vew movies but I couldn't find the alphabet list.

Post 30 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Sunday, 01-Jul-2012 6:13:22

lol i never thought of that, but yes, that works!.

what i do is log in, press control f to find, then find the word vault, and press enter on it. blind mice movie vault is the only mention of the word vault on the site, so that's what i do. but the other way suggested here works just as good

Post 31 by VioletBlue (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Wednesday, 04-Jul-2012 3:47:32

Is there any way to see additional newly added films, once you've reached the bottom of the first page? I don't log in every week, and have probably missed many titles.

I wish the complete description was on the first page; it's a bit of a pain to have to click on each one to read all of it.

I'm so glad it's still around!

Post 32 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Wednesday, 04-Jul-2012 15:58:18

I know, I hate having to click on the descriptions too. Have they fixed the problem yet where even if you clicked on a description, it wouldn't show up? I haven't gone on the site in months for that reason. It's frustrating.

Post 33 by SilverLightning (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Wednesday, 04-Jul-2012 16:35:03

Yes, they've fixed that. I don't have a problem with it.
Also, if you want to see more of the recently added movies, all you have to do is click on the next link at the end of the list..Just go through the headings until it starts talking about the actual mall stores, then go up by links until you here next. it'll take you to the next page of recently added movies. Its really well laid out, and they are updating it quite frequently lately.

Post 34 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Thursday, 05-Jul-2012 10:14:52

agreed. the new site is better than the old one by leaps and bounds. It's well worth the few minutes it takes to create an account.

Post 35 by haley sumner (Newborn Zoner) on Thursday, 05-Jul-2012 15:30:13

That site is amazing! I created an account a few months ago!!! And I love it!! I use my IPhone to access the site, and it's really easy to navigate, use, and it's just all-around, amazing!!!

Post 36 by gleefan (Newborn Zoner) on Monday, 17-Sep-2012 15:41:32

well, I just tryed to log into the blind mice mega mall and tryed to find the blind mice movie vault. I don't see the link anymore. What happend to it?

Post 37 by UniqueOne (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Tuesday, 18-Sep-2012 3:25:20

I think it's still there..love the site as well! Wish I had more money to spend there lol they have some great products! Will do most of my christmas shopping there.

Post 38 by Nicky (And I aprove this message.) on Wednesday, 26-Sep-2012 7:16:37

The link for the movie volt is right below
my account
and above
log out.

It is at the bottom of the page.

I wish that they had it so you could read the discription without clicking but maybe it takes up to much space? Also I don't like how you have to click one link to read the discription and another to download.

I too have an issue with going to the website if I type in the address in the address bar.
blindmicemegamall.com

not sure why but hope that gets fixed. I just put a short cut to my desk top to make it faster.
